BIO

Enemynside were founded in Rome in 1994 under the name Scapegoat. After the release of the demo-tape Scars (awarded “Top Demo of the Month” in all major Italian metal magazines), the band changed its name to Enemynside in 1999. That same year, the demo-CD From The Cradle To The Way led them to sign with Modern Music (a branch of Noise Records) for the internet project Sonicattack. In 2001 the band released the promo-CD Violent Beats, and two years later their debut full-length Let The Madness Begin… (2003) came out via Temple Of Noise/Frontiers Records. The track Hatestone was later featured in Rock Hard magazine (Germany, July 2005). To promote the album, Enemynside toured Italy and abroad, supporting bands such as Dismember, Enthroned, Tankard, and Konkhra.

In 2006, the band entered 16th Cellar Studio (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour Of Penance) to record their second album In The Middle Of Nowhere, released in 2007 by Sleazy Rider Records and reissued in 2008 by Hatestone Records/New Model Label. During this period, Enemynside performed in clubs and festivals with Paul Di’Anno, Evergrey, All Ends, and Sabaton, and in 2009 they toured Scandinavia with Blaze Bayley. In 2012, they played their first U.S. show as part of Freedom To Rock (Loretta Palacios & Raymond Herrera – Fear Factory). The same year, the video for Withering introduced their third studio album Whatever Comes (Mighty Music/Target Distribution), featuring a guest solo by Richie Kotzen.

After a hiatus between 2013 and 2016, the band returned in 2018 with the old-school thrash EP Dead Nation Army, which was promoted through extensive European touring, both as headliners and supporting acts such as Destruction, Behemoth, Necrodeath, and Flotsam and Jetsam. In February 2019, Enemynside recorded their fourth album Chaos Machine at 16th Cellar Studio, released in October the same year by Rockshots Records. Following the pandemic break, they returned to Kick Recording Studio in December 2021 to record the This Is War EP, released in May 2022 by Ad Noctem Records.

In 2023, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut, the band released Medusa, an EP featuring four re-recorded tracks from Let The Madness Begin…. Drums were recorded at Kick Recording Studio, while guitars, bass, and vocals were tracked at Temple Of Gravity Studios, with mastering handled at Parlour Studio UK (The Haunted, At The Gates).

The band's latest release featuring unreleased material is the EP titled 'In The Shadows Of Unrest', once again recorded between Kick Recording Studios (drums, bass, mixing, and mastering) and Temple Of Gravity (guitars and vocals). The EP was released on November 14, 2025. In May 2026, the band had the opportunity to tour their new EP live in Finland, playing dates alongside local bands.
