BIO
Founded in 1998 by guitarist and songwriter
Olaf Thörsen, Italian power/progressive metal pioneers Vision Divine have stood
for over two decades as one of the most respected and influential names in the
international heavy metal scene. With nine acclaimed studio albums, a vast live
legacy, and worldwide tours, the band has built a signature sound defined by
razor-sharp guitar riffs, atmospheric keyboards, progressive structures, and
powerful, catchy vocal melodies.
Following the success of their conceptual
album Blood and Angels' Tears (2024), Vision Divine entered an exciting new
chapter. The band marked the highly anticipated return of two key iconic
members: the unmistakable voice of Michele Luppi (lead vocalist during the
golden era of milestone albums like Stream of Consciousness and The Perfect
Machine) and keyboard virtuoso Oleg Smirnoff.
This reunited lineup sealed its artistic
return in May 2026 with the release of the EP A Clockwork Reverie (Scarlet
Records), featuring brand-new tracks alongside re-recorded classics from their
catalog.
Combining an impressive legacy with fresh,
high-voltage live energy, Vision Divine continues to deliver world-class metal
on stages around the globe.
