The roots of Ethereal Flames lie in the personal history of each musician, passion and artistic discoverythat resulted in the creation of an album that is not just music, but a journey through time, mythology andemotions deeply rooted in the land of theMarche. This adventure begins with Matteo and Alessandro, two friends with a past rich in music and concerts,including a significant experience as session musicians during the Last Union’s European tour.The desire to give life to a musical project thatcould capture the essence of their artistic identity, theirmusical philosophy and that could impact and involve the listener produced the initial spark of Ethereal Flames which, thanks to Andrea’s entry, finally found his own compositional vocation. This amalgam of a burning passion for various musical genres led to the composition of somethingcompletely new. Thanks to the creative harmony, they began to give shape to their ideas in the rehearsalroom.

Deep lovers of heavy metal in its various declinations, they naturally chose this genre as their field ofexpression and an initial approach centered on a classic heavy sound. The vision evolved soon towardsthe adoption of a rich symphonic component, to give their pieces a greater depth and epicness.The symphonic arrangement does more than just providing a backdrop; rather, it intertwines anddialogues with the metal section, creating a sonic experience that is greater than the sum of its parts. Therhythm section with electric guitars, bass, and drumsblends with orchestral elements to create momentsof pure aural ecstasy, where each note seems to transport the listener on a journey through legends andmyths of our land. The fulcrum of musical creation becomes the narration of stories and legends thathavetheir roots in their land, the Marche, a territory rich in history, myths and legends.Through their music, the Ethereal Flames weave tales that range from the legendary Guerin Meschino, theknight errant enchanted by the Sibyl, to the legendary figure of the Sibyl herself, protector and finallyavenger betrayed by her protégés. Their narrative extends to the tragic story of Laura di Farneta, unjustlyaccused of witchcraft, and to the mysterious journeys of the Holy House of Mary, to the point of recallingthe decisive battle of the Metauro and the wandering destiny of Pilate.

Each song is a story in itself, woven with threads of ancient narratives and reflections on existence, onstruggle, on love, and on defeats and revenge. This narrative approachenriches the music with anemotional involvement that allows listeners to fully immerse in the stories, experiencing each song as apersonal journey.

So, it’s not just epic battles and ancient legends that find voice in their songs. Also tormented and tragiclove stories find space, narrating the events of Paolo and Francesca, killed for a forbidden love, and of agirl lost in grief over the murder of her beloved.The entry of the excellent drummer Thomas, a friend of Matteo and Alessandro, is the winningchoice tocomplete the powerful rhythm section necessary to give life to the work “Myths and Legends of our Land”.With the lineup finally complete, Ethereal Flames enter Manuele Pesaresi’s Dyne Engine Studios, wherethey create the sound that fully expresses the impact required to bring their project to life with therecording and mastering of the album.

The commitment from Sliptrick Records was then the next fundamental step to complete the work. Ourrecord company immediately understood and supported the unique spirit of the group. With the albumfinally ready, Ethereal Flames prepare to bring their music and stories to the live stage and invite fans tojoin them on this epic journey through the music, mythology and passion that defines their unique heavymetal symphonic sound.
