BIOGRAPHY

Power Beyond was founded in 1999 by Neapolitan guitarist and vocalist Brunc Masulli (then leader of the thrash metal band Annihilationmancer. and current leader of In Aevum Agere). Fabio Parisi, a drummer from Irpinia with an unmistakable power/speed metal sound, soon joined the project. With one of the first lineup with Bruno Masulli, Fabio Parisi and Marcello Del Gaizo on bass, they released their first demo, “Through The Conscience And The Spirit.” in 2006. In the following years, Giuseppe Aufiero replaced Del Gaizo on bass, and a series of live concerts followed. Only after Aufiero’s departure a few years later, Piersabato Gambino ioined the band releasing their first official, self-produced EP, “Two Forces Opposed,” in 2010. Over the years, the band has constant live performances throughout Italy, which saw further lineup changes with the addition of live vocalist Danilo D’Ambrosio. After the release of a new demo, “Seeds of Deception,” in 201 6, Fabio Parisi left the proiect, leaving Bruno Masulli (the only remaining founding member) to carry the proiect forward with enviable determination and perseverance in composing and recording new material In 2019 and 2020, singles were released chartina the band’s new sound and the composition of songs for a full-length album: “From The Beginning To End” (2019), “Undaunted” (2020), and the mini CD “Prophetic Signs.” In the same year the drummer Claudio Del Monaco (ex Hell’s and In Aevum Agere from 2016 to 2021), a pioneer of the early 1980s Neapolitan metal scene, will ioin the band and Carmine Cuomo, an eclectic and versatile bassist who had previously replaced Piersabato Gambino for live performances, will also be confirmed as a permanent member. In 2022 was released the EP “Timeless Time” and the sinqle “Retrospective” in 2023, consolidated the new sound. A further lineup change also took place in 2023, with Marian McCandless (ex Loadstar, Hell’s) joining the band as live vocalist. McCandless. a multi-instrumentalist singer who returned to Naples after living years in London being part of the UK underground scene, joined the band in September 2024. In 2025 together with the band Savior From Anger, they signed up to Metal Zone ltalia and released the split CD “The Gates Of Eternal Mist.” After a series of live shows, in 2025 Power Beyond is proud to present their new recording work, “From the Beginning to the End,” a four-track EP that encloses the band’s past and present in a powerful and introspective sound. In January 2026, the return of Fabio Parisi, the band’s co-founder. was announced Exactly ten years after leaving Power Beyond, he returned to the band, first replacing an injured Claudio Del Monaco for the 2025 live shows, before deciding to continue as the band’s official drummer. With this new, consolidated lineup, Power Beyond will continue working in the studio for 2026 on new songs, while awaiting the release of their recording work with the same desire as always to record new music and, always, performing live.
